I'm just taking a break now from flyering and handing out literature all over campus at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Unfortunately, there's quite little excitement in the crowd; turnout all over campus is low. For instance, turnout at one dorm was 150 (out of 3000 registered) an hour ago. For comparison, 1000 people voted there in 2008 (and 500 in 2006.) There are "I Voted" stickers throughout the crowd, but not in large quantities, and a surprisingly large minority who professed their vote for Republicans. Turnout will probably pick up around now as classes end, but I don't think it would go over 2006 levels (and even reaching that would be quite iffy.)
